The Horrors of the Maze
Trees of phenomenal oak dressed the grassed land in slumber as the day transformed its phoenix glimmer to twilight, deep and void of the vibrant hues of the day-long gone. But for most chimereons, resting for the night was far from the closest priority as the harvest was just in the swing! Many of the bumbling chams wrestled feasts for the hungry mouths of many and the curious research of plantation and upcoming discoveries. Despite the importance of the research, however, many chams were more focused on the fun that awaited them in the many festivities to come! One of the spookiest ways to celebrate that came around to haunt each cham every year, was the corn maze. Each year, the corn-struck maze would twinkle in the dews of night’s ferocious gaze, yet each year of the festivities the tales of the ghost that dared to haunt the winding paths grew stronger and stronger. Yet this year, in particular, things are going too far out of hand, many chams racing out screaming and sobbing at
The rich glisten of an ever beaming sun graced the fresh green of the luscious grass that sprinkled the land, as the dew of day glistened the rain droplets that decorated every leaf with the charm of a thousand moons once gone. As the world welcomed the newfound light to the day that had fallen before it, so did a young ambitious chimereon grace their feet upon the moist patch of terrain that Dr. Juniper’s laboratories did so reside close by too. As the feeble cham tracked to the luminous crops that scattered themselves freely across the land, did they turn their head back to look once again at the humongous glass cage that Juniper called her lab. The illuminated building too was absorbed in the grace of the roaring sun that danced before it, a fresh neon glare shining through the glass structure, as the exotic plants of all shapes and sizes stood pridefully to be hugged by the brisk morning sun. Leaves of golden hues and roses of foreign shades shone their looks to greet the light
